Korean traditional makeup
1. 3 White: Skin, teeth and hand. Especially Korean people traditionally considered white and clear skin to be the best, so they put powder made out of rice on their face to make it whiter.
2. 3 Black: Hair, pupil, eyebrows. Korean traditional makeup includes neat and beautiful eyebrows. In old times, they used charcoal or ashes mixed with water.
3. 3 Red: Lips, cheek, nails. Since Korean people loved natural expression, they did not put a lot of lip and cheek. When putting makeup on their lips and cheeks, they used safflower power mixed with oil or other red powders gained from natural. With nails, they collected leaves of pink or red flowers and dye the nails with them.
Korean traditional wedding is literally a Korean traditional wedding which includes traditional clothes and make ups of Korean wedding.
1. Clothes: When having traditional wedding, the couple wear traditional Korean clothes called Hanbok. Hanbok is the traditional outfit of Korea which nowadays is only wore in festive days of on special anniversaries such as wedding ceremonies or 1st, 60th, 70th birthdays. Hanbok is dyed with natural dies, and are all handmade because it is frilled or fastened with string to enhance the 3D effect considering that the hanbok is flat but the subject wearing it is 3D being.
2. Hair: Wedding hair is in a bun or is braided and rolled up.
3. Makeup: Korean people did not put extra lot of makeup because they are marrying, but they did put special traditional rouge. They would put three circles that are 2-3 centimeters in diameter on their both cheeks and on the forehead. This is because the red color symbolizes fortune and luck in Korea.
